Marshall C. Harrison, Founder and CEO
As founder and CEO of Imperium, Marshall has combined his expertise in building successful businesses with the technology know-how needed to solve business problems.
Drawing on his background in both business and technology, Marshall has been a key contributor to the technology and overall development of several market research organizations. He has also contributed to the development of numerous Internet startups in addition to major database systems with such clients as IAC/InterActiveCorp, Viacom, GfK, Greenfield Online, Philips Electronics, Altria (Philip Morris), GE, Texaco and Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to founding Imperium, Marshall spent over twenty years in the brokerage and financial services industries and as a venture capital investor.Marshall is a Founding Member of the Connecticut Technology Council and served on its Board of Directors and Executive Committee for six years. He has also served on the boards of the Connecticut Information Technology Institute (UConn) and the Discovery Museum. In 1998, he was a candidate for the U.S. Congress as the Libertarian Party nominee for the 4th District of Connecticut.
Marshall has lectured extensively on trading strategies and techniques, online market research technologies and strategies and contributes to and is quoted in major business and technology publications.
Prashant Goel, Chief Technology Officer
As the Chief Technology Officer, Prashant is responsible for the design, development, and expansion of existing and new products at Imperium. He works closely with Client Services, Marketing, and Sales to analyze market requirements, implement IT strategy and incorporate new features into Imperium’s products.
Prashant brings fifteen years of experience architecting and delivering sophisticated software solutions for a variety of industries including Marketing, Healthcare, Commercial Construction, Banking and Manufacturing.
Prior to joining Imperium, Prashant worked at Cprojects as Director of Software Development. He worked on many large-scale projects and helped design and implement efficient solutions to create new web based bid management products for the Commercial Construction industry.
Prior to Cprojects, Prashant worked at United Healthcare as Application Development Manager where he was responsible for providing comprehensive IT solutions for all the internal functions of a large 30+ million member organization. Prashant has held lead software development positions at Adaptive Marketing (Vertrue Inc.), Wipro Systems and Datacore Systems.
Prashant holds a Bachelor in Statistics and Masters in Computer Applications from Delhi, India.
