Digital Fingerprinting and Watermarking
RelevantID is proprietary technology that gathers a large number of data points from a person’s computer such as operating system  version, browser version, plug-in, display info, etc. and assigns a relative weight to each data point. The data gathered is put through deterministic algorithms to create a unique digital fingerprint of each computer. This fingerprint helps identify an individual with a high risk of committing fraud. Our approach is similar in concept to fraud-detection technologies employed by credit card companies to authenticate individuals.

Fraud Profile Score^™
RelevantID profiles users to determine the probability that they may commit fraudulent behaviors. The Fraud Profile Score takes a variety of factors, such as the existence of an open proxy server , machine time, browser settings, and more to determine the likelihood of a fraudster.

Geo Location Verification
RelevantID can identify the geographic location of the user by country, state/region, city, US postal code, US area code, metro code, latitude, and longitude information and verify that the IP address is originating from where the individual should be. Our non-invasive IP Intelligence provides you with valuable knowledge about your Internet visitors in real-time. This enables you to route users based on their location. 

By identifying where online visitors really are, RelevantID protects banks from illegal transfers of funds, helps online retailers and payment processors detect possible credit card fraud, and prevents phishing attacks and other security breaches by determining the user’s location during the authentication process.
