ST. LOUIS (July 7, 2011) – Maritz Research, a global marketing research leader, will add RelevantID®, a digital fingerprinting technology, to its suite of data quality tools. RelevantID, provided by technology development firm, Imperium®, offers a solution for respondent de-duplication than can protect against a single computer accessing a particular research study more than once.

RelevantID’s technology gathers a large number of data points from a respondent’s web browser. These data points are then put through proprietary algorithms, resulting in a unique digital fingerprint for that machine. No personally identifiable information is collected, and no information on the respondent’s computer is altered.
